Eduvo is a school management platform used by schools to manage their day-to-day records. This policy explains, in plain language, what data passes through Eduvo, who controls it, and what we do — and refuse to do — with it.

The most important thing to understand

The student and staff records inside Eduvo belong to the school, not to us. Each school enters and manages its own records; Eduvo Technologies LLP processes that data only to provide the service to that school, under its instructions. If you are a parent with a question about your child's records, your school is the right first contact — they control the data, and we support them.

What data the platform holds

• Student records entered by the school: name, date of birth, class, photograph, guardian contact details, attendance, marks, fee records, certificates issued.
• Staff records entered by the school: name, contact details, role, attendance/leave, salary structure and payslips.
• Account data: login email addresses and securely hashed passwords (we cannot see anyone's password). Parents sign in with one-time codes; no parent passwords exist.
• Activity logs: an audit record of actions taken in the system (who marked, edited or issued what, and when), kept for the school's own accountability.

What we do with it

• Operate the service for the school — nothing else.
• We do not sell data, share it with advertisers, or use children's data to train anything.
• We do not contact parents or students for marketing.

How it's protected

• All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
• Each school's data is isolated from every other school's.
• Access is role-based: a teacher, an office clerk and a principal each see only what their role permits.
• Backups are encrypted (AES-256) and integrity-checked, and restore procedures are tested.
• Logins lock automatically after repeated failed attempts, and every sensitive action is written to an audit log.

Children's data

Because Eduvo holds records of children, we treat all student data with heightened care as required by Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Schools remain responsible for obtaining any consents required from parents or guardians for the records they maintain; Eduvo provides the technical safeguards described above and processes children's data solely for the school's educational administration — never for advertising, profiling or any secondary purpose.

Retention and deletion

Data is retained for as long as the school maintains its account. If a school leaves Eduvo, we provide a complete export of its data and then delete it from our systems within 90 days, except where law requires longer retention of specific records.

Your rights

Parents and staff may ask their school to view or correct their records at any time. For anything the school cannot resolve, or for any privacy question, complaint or data request directed at us, contact us below — we respond within 7 working days.
